About
When the credits roll,
the real conversation starts.
Mad to Live is a late-night room for Tulsa's creative community and everyone passing through it. Directors and grips. Actors and editors. Musicians, painters, poets, photographers, designers, and the people building strange things with code. No pitch decks, no velvet rope — just a good room, loud music, and the kind of talk that only happens after midnight.
We picked this night on purpose. Tulsa's independent film community is out in force in mid-July, and a lot of filmmakers and artists are already in town for the week. When the screenings end, there should be somewhere to go.
Please note: Mad to Live is an independently organized community event and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially associated with Circle Cinema or the Circle Cinema Film Festival, or any other festival or organization. We're simply throwing a party on a night when a lot of creative people happen to be in Tulsa.

Who it's for
While You're Here
Spend a Little Time
in Tulsa.
If you're in town for the week, don't just see the inside of a theater. Tulsa is one of the great under-appreciated American cities — and the money you spend here stays here. Support the local spots.
Eat & Drink Local
Independent restaurants, coffee roasters, and breweries all over the city. Skip the chains — the local kitchens are the whole point.
Live Music
Tulsa's venues punch far above the city's weight. There's almost always something on, most nights of the week.
Art Deco Downtown
One of the densest collections of Art Deco architecture in the country. Walk downtown and just look up.
Greenwood District
Once known as Black Wall Street, and the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. Its history is essential — take the time.
Route 66
The Mother Road runs straight through town, neon and all. Tulsa's stretch is worth the detour.
Museums & Galleries
World-class collections and small independent galleries, often in the same afternoon.
Want a map of what's actually happening while you're here? We keep a live guide to Tulsa's events, eats and experiences at unicornz.info.

Come Out
Tell us you're coming and we'll send the final details. No cost, no list-envy, no VIP nonsense — we just want a rough headcount so there's enough room and enough to go around.
FAQ
Questions, Answered
When and where is it?
Saturday, July 18, from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM, at Grim House Tulsa — 1550 E Apache St, Tulsa, OK 74106. Open in Maps.
Is this part of the Circle Cinema Film Festival?
No. Mad to Live is an independently organized community event and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially associated with Circle Cinema, the Circle Cinema Film Festival, or any other festival. We chose this night simply because a lot of filmmakers and artists are already in Tulsa that week.
Do I need to be a filmmaker to come?
Not at all. Filmmakers, actors, musicians, artists, photographers, writers, designers, creative technologists, festival visitors, local folks — if you make things or just like talking to people who do, you belong here.
Is there a cover?
It's a community party, not a ticketed event. RSVP and we'll send anything you need to know before the night.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes — food and drinks will be available. We'll share specifics with the RSVP list closer to the night.
What's the pink carpet?
Exactly what it sounds like. There's a pink carpet and a photo backdrop, because everyone deserves a good picture on a good night.
What should I wear?
Dress like the film you'd make. Come as you are — nobody's checking.
Can I bring people?
Please do. Just let us know roughly how many when you RSVP so we can plan.
